Australia . Part 4

 For our second mini adventure we spent some time in Caloundra. 
A somewhat quiet beach town ... we found out just how quiet it was on our second night there.  We decide to leave the four kids with my mum and venture out for some dinner.  We made sure all four kids were in bed before we left .. so we left the room no later than 8pm and go down to make our restaurant choice.  Well it seems restaurants close their kitchens very early in Caloundra! Because there was literally no restaurant open except the local tavern.  Ha! Fun times!  At least we got to watch a bit of the logies ;).

There were a few isolated showers in the forecast that initially made us question whether we should go to Caloundra but they were so short lasting and the weather generally stayed pretty good for us for the most part!   Thank goodness because it was nice so have this little beach time.  I know the kids had the best time!

We went for a little stroll on one of the days and Isabel decided she wanted in on the 'riding on daddy's back fun'.  Whoa! Isabel and Owen truly have a super daddy!  Somebody's back was a little sore after this! .....   xoxoxoxo   ....
