I loved that it was a very low key morning/afternoon (as soon as I unpacked our things from a mini camping trip we went on at the beginning of the week). The evening was spent eating yummy burgers and homemade fries by chef daddy and lighting our own and watching our neighbours awesome fireworks show.
Someone was a little nervous about the noise. But she definitely warmed up as the night went on and
she no longer needed her ear protection. :)
She got brave enough to hold two sparklers at once!
This little guy was suuuuper tired from our camping trip (story and pics to come later) so he watched about 15 minutes of fireworks and just couldn't take it anymore he was in bed by 7:45pm and managed to sleep through all the noise :)
