We miss you Jakey Poo!

Last week Isabel sat on the couch next to me while I nursed Owen and watched a cute video of her baby cousin Jacob that Aunty Claudia had emailed to me ... actually I believe it was 2 videos.
She sat and watched 'Jakey Poo' (as she affectionately calls him) over and over and over and over and OVER again! She knew exactly what to press to get the video clip to repeat ... it must have been at least 30 minutes that she entertained herself with Jakey and his cuteness.
So Aunty Claudia has since sent us another video of Mr Jakey Poo and again Isabel was enthralled by it this time because Aunty mentions her name quite a bit and Isabel was just loving talking to the ipad like they were right there in front of her.
Aunty tells Isabel that Jacob was going to go eat some porridge and our smart little girl says so excitedly to me .. 'mummy he eat porridge like my book' I had to think for a moment what she was talking about but she had already run out of the room and quickly returned with her 'the 3 bears book' and what she was saying was Jacob was eating porridge just like the 3 bears do!  She makes me smile every day!

I must say thank you Apple for the amazing invention that is the Ipad!  You have made it so easy to see Jakey Poo even if he lives so far away and we miss him very much!  And the convenience of being able to watch him in any room in our house. 
And thank you daddy for getting it for us .. in particular the ipad 2!!
