So this Saturday we got out of the house and had a quick visit to the pumpkin patch.
We went to the same one as last year .. it's got the animals, rides and of course pumpkins and it's still close to us!
First stop was a visit to the goats ... Miss Isabel was not wanting anything to do with them in the beginning (she may just have a little bit of my scaredy cat gene ... but I do appreciate daddy making her try even if she doesn't want to) but by the end of it she seemed excited to put her hand out and feed them and even touch them! Baby brother was happily sleeping in his car seat the entire time taking in the fresh air and fun sounds that were all around him.
We've never purchased a pumpkin from the patch ... definitely more expensive than the other 'regular' places that sell them but I am looking forward to carving one this year. It's going to be the first one that Isabel carves so it should be fun!
