Easter Egg Hunt

Today was so fun!
We went to an Easter Egg hunt with our friends from Stroller Strides and had an enjoyable time!
For me it was so great to socialise with the other mummies after being home bound for the last 2 weeks being sick (pregnancy blues and then a what seemed to be a looong annoying cough). There is a group of 6 us that are pregnant right now .. due around the same time so it's great to have a little support system. Even for getting tips on potty training from those that have kids a little older and have recently gone through it! :)

This is Isabel's very first hunt .. last year she was still too young to enjoy and plus we celebrated Easter with our Aussie family - so fun .. remember running and catching those boiled eggs husband? Ha! Ha!
Well ... in all honesty I actually enjoyed the hunt itself more than Isabel - she really seemed not to care much at all. The house that hosted the cute party has 2 little girls and they had a cute dolls house in the living room that Isabel was A LOT more enthralled with than the hunt and the Easter Bunny who made an appearance!
She did enjoy the eating part though! Lots of yummy treats including a little 'egg cake' she got to decorate - she shoved that thing in her mouth quicker than I could get my camera out of my bag!

Grrrr ... I had my camera on the wrong setting .. more blurry pics than focused ones!

P.S Aunty C - we are loving her skirt! This is her first time wearing it. She is still a little skinny for it but she loved the 'twirliness' of it. Plus she got sooo many compliments from people at the party! It's so cute on her!! Thanks again! I think I want another one ...
