It's beginning to look a lot like .....

Yes it indeed is beginning to look a lot like christmas.

I can already tell - now that Isabel is older celebrating christmas this year will be just a little bit more exciting and fun!

We started our month of December by going to get a real christmas tree!

That's is definitely one of the fun things about celebrating Christmas here in the US - you have the option of choosing between a beautiful, nice smelling real tree or the usual um ... fake tree.

So we splurged a little (man - they're not cheap) and got ourselves a tree on Wednesday night.

It's so cool to walk through the tree lot and choose your perfect tree and then tie it to the top of the car to take it to its new cozy home - where hopefully it will stay green and alive through the whole month! He! He!

Isabel was loving getting close and taking a sniff of the branches.

Now it's time to decorate and make it look pretty!
