A Sunday afternoon at the races

This Sunday afternoon/evening we got to see some race horses up close and personal.

One of the guys that works with Jason trains some of the horses at a nearby race track and gave us the opportunity to come visit and see them behind the scenes .... we even got to feed them some carrots!

Along for the fun were Mike, Misti, Matt, Eirann and their cuties.

Take a close look at the one pic where Isabel looks like she is crying and scared of the horse! But it was just that moment ... she got over it pretty quickly and seemed to be OK with the other horses she got to look and get excited at.

It was nice little Sunday outing!

Just a quick side note on our weird weather ... it was a January winter's day and it was a pleasant 27C during the day!
