Pumpkin Patch Visit

Last weekend we had a quick visit to the pumpkin patch.  The Autumn season is in full swing around here with pumpkin spiced this and pumpkin spiced that and talk of Halloween costumes.  The only thing that seems to be missing is the cooler weather.  Summers HOT temperatures have made for a hot start to the month of October but none the less we had to make time to go the pumpkin patch.  

We went to a new location this time.  One I heard a lot about.  One that seemed to be more about the expensive kid rides than the actual pumpkins.   But what do I know?  I have only gone to a pumpkin patch five times in the last six years and according to Jason this one was just 'an over commercialized carnival with a few pumpkins thrown in'. Or something close to that.  Ha!

But let's face it ... it's more about the cute pics and having a little walk around and enjoying the sea of orange and watching the kids climbing the HUGE pumpkins anyway. ;)
