The day after Christmas ... boxing day I guess. I forget to call it that since they don't have it here in the US .. hah! Anyways Jason had to go to San Luis Obispo to attend court for work ... and so Isabel and I decided to tag along for the ride. It was so nice. We stopped in Santa Barbara for the first night .. Saturday and had dinner in a nice Italian restaurant in downtown Santa Barbara while Isabel napped in her pram ... it was a nice but rushed dinner since they told us that in an hour our table was already reserved ... oh well we still enjoyed! The next morning we had a quick visit to the Santa Barbara mission - we did a quick mini tour of the place. Then it was onto Pismo Beach with a lunch stop in Los Olivos - a very nice wine tasting area which we had been to before but this time it was only Jason who got to enjoy a mini wine taste at one of the places while he showed off his daughter to the ladies inside :). Our hotel in Pismo Beach was set on some cliffs overlooking the ocean ... it was the most amazing view and of course where most of the photos were captured. Monday morning Jason did his court thing and by mid morning we were on our way back home ... about a 4 hour ride.
We had a good weekend! Thanks daddy for letting us tag along. :)
